		<description>This is a wonderful post.  Insightful too.  I&#039;ve been talking about how important the heroic camp counselor is for a while.  Apart from teachers and parents, they may be the most important group of heroes in America.

I run a training for camp counselors based around this idea and have had a number of them write about their hero&#039;s journeys too.  You can read them all at http://heroworkshop.wordpress.com/camp-counselors/

If any camp people are interested in submitting their journey, I&#039;d love to include them.
