THE CLOUD (Staff Lounge)

On the off-chance that a staff may find an elusive  “catch-as-catch-can” free moment  during a ‘normal’ camp work day, she’ll likely be found in “The Cloud” where she can put her feet up and relax.

And when there is a larger block of concentrated staff time-off — especially once the campers are in bed for the night and/or when staff are on scheduled days and nights off  — Kamaji staff usually gravitate towards The Cloud where there is access to the internet as well as free telephone service to anywhere in the U.S. plus WiFi for those who bring their laptops plus satellite TV and an impressive movie collection plus a soda/juice machine.  (Hint!  Our head cook, Marjena, puts out “staff snacks” around 10:00 pm each night so stop by the Lodge first to pick up some goodies to munch on!)

There are also individual lockers for cabin counselors large enough to hold all their valuables.  In the back of each locker, there’s even an outlet where she can recharge her laptop, I-Pod, cell phone . . . (Counselors need to provide their own padlocks for the lockers.)

Oh yeah one more thing:  Built for the summer of 2008, The Cloud is off-limits to campers!!
