Waterskiing

Not surprisingly, waterskiing is one of the most popular waterfront instructional programs at Kamaji.  With six water-ski instructors and two ski boats, our class sizes are limited to 10 per activity period.  Once a camper has learned the safety rules and spotter hand signals, she — with an instructor in the water alongside her — learns to hold the rope and balance the skis.  Progressing through the National Water-ski levels, water-ski challenges include crossing and jumping the wake, dropping a ski “mid-stream” and slalom skiing.
