Horseback Riding

Kamaji’s English riding program is designed to teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced level riders. If you have never pet a horse before or if you take individual riding lessons at home, we have classes for you.

Our experienced riding staff will work with you to review what you know and to teach you new skills.  New riders learn the basics while our advanced riders learn to jump and even ride bareback.

Each summer Kamaji houses 10 horses at our on-site barn. If you want even more time with the horses after your riding class, you can visit the Riding Director at the barn to get some extra riding time or help groom and feed the horses.

In addition to our regular teaching program in our ring, there are opportunities for campers of the appropriate level to take the horses swimming, go on trail rides or even take an overnight riding trip.
