horseback-riding

Kamaji’s English riding program is designed to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced level riders. It doesn’t matter if you have never seen a horse in real life before or even if you take regular riding lessons at home. Our experienced riding staff will work with you to review what you know and to teach you new skills.

Each summer Kamaji houses 10 horses at our on-site barn. If you want even more time with the horses after your riding class, you can visit the Riding Director at the barn to get some extra riding time or help groom and feed the horses.

In addition to our regular teaching program in our ring, there are opportunities for campers of the appropriate level to take the horses swimming, go on trail rides or even take an overnight riding trip.
